“Goals for Reading” is the topic of the first three lessons in the guide.

How to use this research:

  1. Reflect on a student in your program. How might you use the information on risk factors and the six findings when planning instruction for a particular learner?
  2. Try out the plan with the learner. What worked, and why did it work? What might you do differently?
