Following up on the issues she discusses in Chapter Seven, Cromley provides an annotated bibliography, organized around the topics of metacognition and cognitive strategy instruction. She includes books, journal articles, and other documents, and for each entry, notes the focus of the work, its intended audience (i.e., researchers and/or teachers), and the level of background knowledge required. Cromley also provides a short glossary of some technical terms frequently encountered in studies on these issues.
